COVID-19 has dramatically changed the landscape for African American-owned businesses and OUR communities. We must ban TOGETHER to keep our businesses alive, but we must also work even harder to help OUR communities combat this vicious virus.

We have converted a portion of our website to be a resource to you. There are programs available to help you and your business, so check out the information we have provide. Now, in order to do this consistently, we need your help.

Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program

The U.S. Small Business Administration in Illinois (SBDC-IL) is offering low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

 

Paychek Protection Program

The SBA’s Paychek Protection Program (PPP) provides loan forgiveness for retaining employees by temporarily expanding the traditional SBA 7(a) loan program.

CORONAVIRUS Emergency Loans Small Business Guide and Checklist

Prepared by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocated $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn.
